Preparation:

I started with the Sander van Vugt course on CKA on the O’Reilly Platform and completed it within two weeks, it is good for the introduction and for initial start, some of the topics are not covered in this course, in order to learn that I moved on to Mumshad Mannambeth course on Udemy which covers all of the topics related to exam, it is totally optional to start with Sander van Vugt course on CKA, you can directly start with Mumshad Mannambeth as well.

  1. Sander van Vugt course on CKA.

2. Mumshad Mannambeth course on CKA.

3. Some topics from LinuxAcademy Course.

Practice:

Now after the preparation for the CKA, the thing which matters the most in the CKA exam is the practice and time management. For that, I googled it and found most of the resources which can be helpful for practice and gaining confidence before giving the actual exam.

  1. All the mock exams and Lightning Lab from mumshad course on CKA.
  2. Definitely do the JSON path course on kodecloud it is free and gives you confidence while doing JSON path questions in the exam, https://kodekloud.com/p/json-path-quiz
  3. For Practicing Network Policies you can visit:-https://github.com/ahmetb/kubernetes-network-policy-recipes
  4. You can also visit killer.sh for more practice tests.
  5. For more questions and practice you can also take help of the Linux academy course which has 3 exams and some in-between labs for a similar scenario which you get in the exam
  6. You can also visit this link https://github.com/walidshaari/Kubernetes-Certified-Administrator from walidshaari for a more descriptive breakdown of the curriculum and resources.
  7. For more questions, you can also check out this link https://github.com/David-VTUK/CKA-StudyGuide
  8. You can also visit this for more questions and practice https://prabhatsharma.in/blog/cka-practice-test-1/ https://prabhatsharma.in/blog/cka-practice-test-2/

Tips:

  1. First of all read the questions carefully, because it is not easy as it seems.
  2. Use the imperative command as much as possible it will save your time as well as effort.
  3. Carefully changed the context while attempting any questions.
  4. Notepad is available in the exam you can use them for commands and also for the checklist of the questions.
  5. Time Management is the key in the exam, but don’t do it too fast otherwise, you can miss something and because of that, your marks got deducted which will be a great loss. If you can stable your mind before doing the questions and you know how to perform that 2 hours will be enough for you to crack the exam.

Thanks for reading, I think this guide will help you to achieve and learn something new for the CKA Exam and to Crack the Exam as well.

Good Luck with the Exam……
